About
A place where I document about things I didn’t know before becoming a mum.
The first thing I texted my mum-friends after I delivered my baby was “Why didn’t you guys tell me?” I was obviously over-the-moon to finally meet my baby, but at the same time acutely terrified that this was going to be my life - a never ending cycle of breastfeeding and struggling to making a wailing baby sleep, on repeat. They replied, “Because you’d never understand what it’s like unless you go through it yourself”. Which is absolutely true.
Postpartum 5 months, I am starting this blog to randomly and perhaps regularly update some things I’ve picked up along this journey, in hope to help other sleep-deprived parents (like me) frantically googling the web at night, trying to figure out what might work for their baby.
I’m Korean, spent my early childhood in Europe, teenage and early adult years in Korea, and now I live in Singapore.
I also own @myjibcode for fun, a humble home account where I sometimes document our ordinary but precious life at home.
So… Here we go.
